This is one of my favorite shows ever.  The laugh track really adds to it.

THE MAGIC BAT

We’re in the middle of baseball season.  I love it.  I’m finally a HUGE fan again after a 14 year hiatus since the 1994 strike.  I’ve also abandoned hope that all of my old baseball cards would pay for my kids’ college tuition.

I had never seen this clip until yesterday.  I have to believe its legit since the runner takes off and the announcers point it out.  How in the world does this happen?  I guess it’s like dropping a full drink and having it land straight up without spilling any of it.  God’s hand at work in that case.  There are few things better than a really good fountain coke.

I know I blog about the Karate Kid all the time, but seriously it’s the best 80’s movie around (get it? – too funny).  This tune by one hit wonder Joe Esposito is part of the reason the Karate Kid is on constant rotation at my house.  That and because I truly understand real ultimate power.

SPEAKING OF THE OFFICE

As I get older, this movie gets better.  Please watch this scene and pay attention to the older Bob when he breaks it down for Lumbergh regarding Peter Gibbons.  His hand motion to the younger Bob is priceless.

I understand that office jokes will soon go the way of Borat, but this movie should never go out of fashion.  It’s been right on with almost every office I’ve ever been in.
