Perfect timing for this video. Earlier this evening Tic Tac and I were discussing whether or not SNL had anything going for it these days. I mentioned that I thought Andy Samberg had some fairly good material. I think I’m going to change my tune (get it? haha! I’ll be here all week) after this video:

PLEASE COME BACK TO TV OR THE MOVIES SOON, RACHEL BILSON
It’s been a while since I’ve posted a picture of Rachel Bilson. I apologize for that because I’m sure you – like me – have been missing her. Why is she not on a new TV show or in more movies?
Yeah, I saw Jumper. That doesn’t make me a bad person. 90% of the reason I saw it was because she was in it. So what? She’s a fox. I couldn’t help myself. Please make some more movies soon, Rachel Bilson.

AVATAR HAS TAKEN THINGS TOO FAR
I have no idea what to say about this except I’m disappointed…that’s it. I’m just disappointed.
I hate the internet so much right now.

BROKEN BELLS – THE HIGH ROAD (VIDEO)
When I’m not listening to Beach House’s fantastic new album, I’m recharging my hearing with this track from the upcoming collaboration between the Shins James Mercer and Danger Mouse. They call themselves Broken Bells. Dig it.

WTF SUSAN SARANDON?
Here’s a clip of Susan Sarandon spanking a guy in a pig costume at an Of Montreal show. WTF?
I hope this doesn’t hurt my indie street cred but they sound like a high school band here.

HELLO MIRANDA KERR
I’m the last one to jump on the Miranda Kerr bandwagon because she dates that weenie-hole Orlando Bloom, but this picture pretty much speaks for itself.

J.D. SALINGER 1919-2010
Author and noted recluse J.D. Salinger passed away today. Salinger wrote The Catcher in the Rye and has spent the last 59 years telling Hollywood directors and producers to stay away from it. It’s an amazing read. If you haven’t read it, then go read it. He may be gone, but The Catcher in the Rye will be around forever. Rest in peace, J.D.

iM UNiMPRESSED WITH THE iPAD
Apple released its latest product today the iPad (sounds like a feminine product doesn’t it?). To sum it up it’s like a gigantic iPhone that can’t make calls – it has 3G, plays music and videos, and has WiFi. It’s supposed to fit somewhere inbetween an iPhone and a laptop. I get it; I just don’t need it.
I think it’s safe to say bloggers and apple fanatics alike were expecting something more – maybe a full service tablet computer. I guess Apple can’t hit it out of the park every time.
Will I get one? No way. I have no need for it. I have both a laptop and an iPhone. Interesting move, Apple.
