ACADEMY AWARD NOMINATIONS

Avatar and The Hurt Locker each received 9 nominations a piece.  I’m a little surprised The Blind Side got a Best Picture nomination.  I guess that’s what happens when you extend the category to 10 nominations.  As long as Avatar doesn’t win Best Picture I’ll be happy.  My predicted winners are in red text.

    Here is my review of The Hurt Locker, which I am praying beats Avatar. It is such a vastly superior film.
