THE RESULTS ARE IN…

…Jennifer’s Body is a stinker.  It came in at 5th place at the box office this weekend making only 6.8 million.  That’s pathetic.

I went and saw it on Saturday night.  There were 6 people in the theater besides us.  I understand it’s college football season, but I was still surprised at the lack of attendance.

Here’s my take: AWFUL acting, AWFUL directing, and an AWFUL script.

Megan Fox is attractive but clearly no one wants to see her act.   I can’t believe I spent money to see this piece of trash.  I guess I took one for the team.

She’s slowly taking over the world.  Jennifer’s Body comes out this Friday.  I guess I’ll go see it and give a full report on Monday.  I already hate it so it’s going to have to be really good to change my mind.

A REVIEW OF JENNIFER’S BODY

I’d rather review Megan Fox’s body.  OHHHHHH SNAP!  Did you see that one coming?  I don’t think so.

Moving right along…Diablo Crappy’s (I mean Cody’s) new film Jennifer’s Body debuted last night at the Toronto Film Festival and the reviews are starting to pour in.  I haven’t seen Jennifer’s Body yet so I can’t comment on it, but I bet it will be along the lines of cinematical’s review – which you can read here.

So far the verdict has been CRAP as predicted.

SEX SELLS

I’ll tell you what’s not going to sell though: a crappy trailer and a shitty script.  This movie looks like every other teen horror flick to come out in the last 15 years.  I wonder when people will quit writing generic movies about high school.  I guess Diablo Cody needed a little bit more screen time to show how in tune she is with the youth of today.  Cause you know ALL the kids are saying things like “that ain’t no etch-a-scetch – that’s one doodle that can’t be undid homeskillet.”
